After a critically acclaimed debut album, marked by a 35-date French tour and some remarkable support acts (Sting, Alice Cooper, Mika, Kyo, Izia, etc...), EDGÄR make a stunning rock comeback with their new single “Time”. The first single from their forthcoming album (Spring 2024), the pop-rock duo from Amiens sound the revolt and return to their teenage loves with a hard-hitting, committed rock track. Coming from a generation lulled by the sound of saturated guitars, Edgär are fighting to survive in a society where artists have become ephemeral consumer products.

After two highly acclaimed EPs, the Edgär duo unveil their debut album “Secret”. A dozen tracks make up this electro-pop-oriented record. The quality of the lyrics evokes moments in life, emotions and feelings: “Nuit” and its melancholy, or “Sable blanc”, which sings of past sorrows, refer to inner questioning and self-questioning. “Dictators”, an electro track, contrasts the gentleness of an inner world with real life. The acid pop of “The lights”, the acoustic folk of “Dead end” and the French chanson of “Réveille-moi” will take you on a dreamlike, soaring journey. “Me voudras-tu” is an ode to love, and ‘Incendies’, minimalist pop with simplistic, effective notes, will shake your sensibilities.
