Collection: Savion

Swedish Savion was founded by Phyllis and Charlotta in 2023. Building an international audience from the start, with music media and playlists picking up on their music worldwide. French Rolling Stone praised the debut album Shadow Work for its ”natural sense of melody” and its ”ability to transform melancholy into beauty”. When Charlotta later left the band to focus on literature, a new chapter began.

Fanny Hamlin joined the project.

Fanny brings a voice and a history of her own. As a member of the girl group Play, she experienced international pop success, including a Gold record in the US. Eventually, tired of the rules and expectations surrounding the music industry, she left it all behind and moved to the countryside.

For ten years, she and Phyllis had been sending each other songs without any real plan to collaborate. Until one of those songs changed everything. Phyllis sent Fanny Don’t Let the Music Kill You, Baby. She listened and immediately recognised something of her own story in it.

“I’m in.”

That sentence turned ten years of musical postcards into a pop duo.

With producer Sven Johansson as a third essential creative force, the music began to move in a new direction. More expressive. More romantic. More joyful. Fanny found her way back to music through the light they were creating together, while Phyllis discovered a side of his songwriting he hadn’t known how to reach. They had found something neither could quite have reached alone.
